March 1

How in the world can it possibly be March? The year is flying by........I still can't believe it is 2009. I will turn around twice and it will be 2010. I vividly remember a song from my teen years "In the year 2525..." and it was like a year that would never exist. Now I believe it very well could although I'd be so, so happy if the Lord would return before then....if all my loved ones give their life to Him by then. That would just be 16 more years. Oh wow I don't want to think about how old I will be by then. Although I really like the age I am now. I'm being blessed by seeing my children as adults with children all doing their best to love the Lord. What an awesome thing I lived long enough to see this. Many people do not.

Colby spent the night with us Friday and before he went to sleep he gave me a big hug and said MeMaw you are so sweet .... and nearly my friend......and very useful. He is so sweet. By the way, those were all complements from him. It is amazing to watch his brain work. The next morning he was watching me put my makeup on and said that hick up smells good. I was wracking my brain to figure out what he meant and it dawned on me he meant makeup. Makeup....hickup - they are similar. :) He is adament that signals (as in red lights) are cements. I argued with him about it but in the end he said MeMaw can they please be cements. Of course, I promptly said sure baby. He told his uncle on the phone they got a new stroller because the old one wasn't working properly. Where does he come up with all of this?

Melissa just grunts every message but in such a way you nearly always know what she wants, needs, demands. :) She loves to slap at her brother and then very quickly rub his head as an endearment. What fun she is. She can really pucker up when she is blowing a kiss!

I held little William at church and out to eat after church today. Hard to believe tomorrow he will be 12 weeks. They have been precious weeks. He is so sweet. He sure loves his pacifier! We all just eat him up. He sleeps very little, in the day time, for such a small one but does sleep good at night. That is the important time. He sure loves his bottle and gets mad when you take it away to burp.

Scary times we live in but in those scary times life is good.
