My parents 55th anniversary was yesterday. What a legacy they have given all who observe them. Pastor Sal even spoke today on the generations that demonstrate faith and perseverance. Today's generations are sorely lacking and needing famlies to look to that have stayed strong in the Lord-even on the hard days. I'm sure it is worse in such a large town as Houston but it is so sad that people are seeking the easy way out instead of God's ways. He left us all the instructions we could ever want in His Holy Word. Pastor Sal encouraged us to reach out to others and be that support to the younger generation. Thanks to my parents example I had lived out before me an amazing amount of love-for each other and for the Lord. Also support, steadfastness and perseverance. Doing things God's way is always the right way---for the individual and for the family; through the generations.
