The heart is an amazing thing. The Bible talks about it often and where our heart should be. My heart is certainly totally sold out to Jesus but it amazing how much you can love each family member totally 100%!!
Colby turned six today and that is an amazing thing. I remember it like it was literally yesterday and the instant 100% love. Michelle fought so hard to keep him from entering the world too early and then..............here he was. He was the most precious bundle of joy and we felt so protective for him to survive. He certainly has. You would never know he was a preemie! He is so many things--bold, entertaining, loving, captivating, endearing, full of imagination and laughs. He must of kissed me a hundred times today thanking me for his precious Wall E. I would say he doesn't have a shy bone in his body but when we were at Rainforest Cafe and they brought out his cake (volcano) and loudly sang happy birthday to him he was taken back. ha!
He told me the only thing sad today is that his Papa is in heaven and not here to see his toys. Oh how he misses, as we all do, his Papa. Dad would of so enjoyed seeing Colby light up over his toys. He loved Colby's love for life.
I'm so thankful for the days we have together now to gather and enjoy each other as we are good about doing but also so looking forward to heaven. I guess that is a great place to be!!!

You are good. Love the pictures from today! It has been a wonderful day to celebrate. Papa's name was sure mentioned a few times and his presense was missed. Can't wait to celebrate each day with him in Heaven. The day has brought back so many memories of the week before Colby was born... and also memories of birthdays celebrated when Papa was here with us. We are blessed to be loved! Love your post on Colby, you describe him perfectly! Love you!
