Thanksgiving was a nice day to celebrate all we are blessed with. True thanks this year came one day later as dad was FINALLY released from the hospital after a month stay. We did not get to the bottom of all the blood loss that we so deserately wanted but we did get to a place the doctors were comfortable with dad being released from the hospital. It was so wonderful today to go over and see him sitting in his chair and laughing at Colby and Melissa. He is VERY weak and we have to take him to the doctor on Monday for a blood check but this year my thankful list is what it always should be.....
that we have breath
that we can walk
that we can talk
that we don't ache and have pain
that we can see our family
we tend to take so many things from granted.......just not reflecting on how blessed we are and praising God for what we have.
This holiday season I'm most thankful for loved ones. I need nothing else.
