We all gathered at mom and dad's home last night to celebrate mom's birthday. We all ended up on their back patio since the weather was so nice and the kiddos could run around to their hearts content. We all just enjoy each other and laugh and laugh....not at each other but with each other.
At one point we were all in chairs kind of in a circle and little Melissa happened to be standing in the middle and put her first two words together. What did she say? In a voice that sounded exactly like her big brother she said "Ohhh MAN!". We were all astounded she had put two words together. It was funny just to see everyones face in amazement. What a cute moment.
I took over an ice cream cake and we all enjoyed.
The best things in life really aren't about visiting exotic places or winning great prizes. The best things in life are about family enjoying each other ....sharing birthdays and important events.....sharing faith.....praying for each other....looking in each other's eyes with joy in being together. Mom and Dad really taught that to us and it continues through the generations. How blessed we are!

Vicki-that sounds like so much fun being together and laughing with each other but...I have to tell you that when we were horseback riding I was laughing AT you not WITH you... Ha Ha What a funny memory to me! We are doing well, Ash had her surgery and that same day she found out that she and Mark were being transferred to Boise, Idaho. So we are down here in Boise and we found them a darling brand new home to rent since they have to leave there cute little home they just remodeled in Centerville. Se La Vie! She is happy although her surgery knee is like 4 times as big as the other one. She looks like she has elephantitis. We had a fun day looking at houses and laughed alot. She is fun and I love spending time with my kids as I know you do! Who needs friends (Or enemies :)) When you have kids! Love Ya-Dianne
